You can also bring your mat and practice yoga in a peaceful setting. The fresh air and pleasant sunlight will help you relax and connect with nature. Alternatively, after an hour of running, you can cool off by swimming in the Patapsco River.

Movement Timonium

If you’re looking for a fun way to exercise, Movement Timonium is the place for you. Movement Timonium is a rock climbing center a few miles outside of Aberdeen. The gym specializes in indoor and outdoor climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering expeditions, and high-angle access. Since its opening in 1996, the locally owned gym has greatly benefited the community. Climbing courses are available for adults, families, and children.

They also offer summer camps, junior climbing teams, and other fun programs for kids. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and thorough. Your safety is of the utmost importance, so the trainers will always watch you until they are confident you can climb on your own. The gym has stairs, several working ellipticals, and large inclined walls that combine to provide a great climbing experience for all climbers.
