3. Millard Tydings Memorial Park

Millard Tydings Memorial Park offers plenty of space to settle down with your picnic blanket and basket as you admire the beautiful surroundings. Situated along 352 Commerce Street in Havre de Grace, this area is home to a playground, a gazebo, tennis courts, a dock, a boardwalk, and a yearly carnival. With ample parking space, over 150 species of birds to admire, and lots of restaurants around, this is a destination you won’t regret visiting.

4. Susquehanna State Park

The Susquehanna is a must-explore location situated along the Susquehanna River valley in Havre de Grace. The area offers a perfect setting for a ton of outdoor recreational opportunities, including biking, swimming, hunting, fishing, and picnicking. There is also a family-friendly campground that features traditional campsites and cabins. Visitors can also opt for the Deer Creek picnic area that provides grills, tables, two picnic venues, and a classic restroom.

5. Aberdeen Festival Park

Aberdeen Festival Park, found at 60 North Parke Street, is another popular gathering spot for the community and caters to all ages. If you are in the company of your kids that seek to expel some energy, head to the huge playground available first.
