1. Keyes Creamery
Not sure what kind of ice cream you want? That is fine because Keyes Creamery has many choices. Unique flavors like salted caramel, honey, red velvet, bubble gum, blueberries and cream, and strawberry cheesecake are available in summer as hand-dipped ice cream. Premium flavors include black cherry chip, black raspberry, cherry vanilla, Cow’s Feet, Goose Feather, peppermint chip, chocolate chip cookie dough, cappuccino crunch, and buttery salted caramel.
Located at 349 Hopewell Road, Keys Creamery will take suggestions for ice cream flavors.
2. The Greene Turtle
The Greene Turtle, located at 1113 Beards Hill Road, has some of the tastiest goodies ever. The funnel cake fries are amazing, and a favorite of many is the Gooey Monkey Bread. Ice cream sundaes, a cookie lava sundae, root beer floats, and Smith Island cake are also offered on the menu.
Besides these tasty morsels, a variety of other foods are on the menu. Tacos, burgers, salad bowls, soups, and jumbo wings are just a few of the things that can be found.
3. Mamie’s Café
Located at 939 Beards Hill Road, Mamie’s Café is open Sunday from 11 AM to 9 PM, Tuesday through Thursday from 11 AM to 9 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 10 PM. Curbside pickup and delivery are available.
While one may not think of Mamie’s as a sweet spot, the bakery items are amazing. Rice pudding is a favorite, and the crumb cake is to die for. Other options to try out include the 5″ X 5″ Oreo brownie or the spiced pumpkin cake.
4. Innovative Sweets
Looking for a variety of delights? Innovative Sweets can take care of you. Currently, this bakery is only accepting scheduled pre-orders. You can order online with various times to pick from. If cookies are your thing, you can choose between red velvet, sugar, chocolate chip, or double chocolate chip. Cupcakes are available as well with either your choice of either an edible image or a topper.
Waffle cones are a favorite here. Pick from strawberry crunch cheesecake, chocolate crunch cheesecake, or cookies and cream. Other treats you may be interested in are chocolate-covered pretzel rods, chocolate-covered Oreos, rice krispie treats, cake pops, cakesicle pops, and macarons. If you are looking for a gift, there are large specialty jars. Also available are sheet cakes, two-tier cakes, and single-round cakes.
