These days should expect to find a myriad of car safety features that make your vehicle one of the best and safest vehicles on the road. Jeep dealers have many of those vehicles available for you to test drive, and we’d love it if you came down and took a look at one of our wonderful vehicles. Let’s take a look at some of the features that you should expect to find on some of the best Jeeps on the market.

1. Blindspot Monitoring

Your blindspot is the trickiest area of your surroundings to monitor, but your Jeep will help you out. There’s a feature to alert you of when something has entered your blind spot, and this will help you act accordingly and stay safe on your journey. Rear cross past detection also comes with this feature, so you’ll know if something is approaching from either side behind your vehicle. This is particularly useful when you’re backing out of a parking spot.

2. Forward Collision Warning

Forward collision warning will alert you to any vehicles, pedestrians, or objects that you’re likely to collide with. Understandably, sometimes the distractions in your vehicle will keep you from noticing a potential collision. The vehicle will take care of you by alerting you, and then it will activate your brakes if you don’t act.

This emergency braking could be the difference between you getting into an accident and not getting into one, so we highly recommend getting yourself a vehicle that has forward collision warning.

3. Adaptive Cruise Control

Adaptive cruise control is perfect for somebody who likes to relax behind the wheel. This feature is never a replacement for safe driving, and you need to be on high alert at all times, but it can let you take a break from the stress of maintaining your speed based on the speed of the vehicles around you.

The adaptive cruise control function detects the speed that the vehicle ahead of you is going, and it adjusts your speed to match it while maintaining a safe distance from the driver ahead. The feature adjusts your speed as necessary, and it can even bring your vehicle to a stop if the one in front of you has slowed down considerably or has come to a stop.

4. Parkview Rear Backup Camera

Backing into a parking spot can sometimes be difficult, and it’s always made easier by a camera feed of what’s happening behind your vehicle. The Parkview rear backup camera gives you a feed of what’s going on at the rear of your vehicle, and it can help you seamlessly slide into even the tightest parking spots. The park sensory park assist system helps with this, too, and it will beep if there’s an object too close to you while you’re trying to get into your parking spot.

Come by Adams Jeep of Maryland to check out some excellent new and used Jeep vehicles with the features above. Any one of our Jeeps will help keep you safe on the road.
